Welcome to
the Central New York Chapter of
ASHRAE.
The
purpose of our organization is to advance the arts and
sciences of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning to the
Industry's professionals in the Greater Syracuse and Central
New York area by courteous professional and social exchange
between equipment manufactures, sales and service
representatives, installation and service contractors,
consulting engineers, service providers, and building owners
or owner representatives.
Our Central New York Chapter is active
with monthly meetings and various events throughout the year.
We have about 240 members from across Central New York. Please
contact us if you have questions about or are interested in

Technical Program: Hybrid Refrigeration Systems

Peter Bailey (DEI Controls) will describe how to apply a Hybrid Refrigeration System (HRS) to air cooled chillers which can operate without compressors and how to retrofit a refrigeration circuit using refrigerant pumps to achieve optimal energy savings.
